Wizardish by Steven Frampton weaves a delightful tale of the adventures of Odin and his loving companion Jimbo.
My attention was peaked immediately with a mystery and then a solution sought by Divine and Celestial means.
The character of Odin is so inspirational because of his intelligent and quizzical nature of being wide open to astronomy, mythology and how it relates to history and the ever-happening power of now.
This story asks me to ask important questions in my own life and how I am defined by the heavens.
Steven includes an array of historical facts, interesting characters, and a sweet story from the eyes of a youngster and his trusted mentor.
I will ponder this book for many years and intend on using the information for my own growth and evolution.

Just finished Wizardish by Steven Frampton, and I honestly loved the experience. The book blends fantasy, mystery, symbolism, and spirituality in a way that feels imaginative and very original. What starts as a simple search for a missing dog slowly unfolds into a much bigger journey filled with magic, hidden meanings, and reflections about life and the universe.
One thing I appreciated most is how the story invites you to think while still being entertaining.You can tell Steven poured a lot of creativity and passion into building this world.

The author’s description of this book is very simplified. The storyline is the icing on the cake. The cake is a book that I’m about to reread with post-it tabs and gel pens in hand. The way the book related astrology to everyday (or not so everyday) events made it easy remember and visualize astrology in real life. It made it seem more proactive than reactive in my mind at least. I saw references to books, figures, and even recipes that I need to research for my own curiosity. This book is definitely a surprise treasure trove of knowledge. Wizardish is a solution to “you don’t know what you don’t know.” You’ll be guaranteed to find something presented in these pages that just begs for a deep dive. I really hope there is a second book coming.
I finished Wizardish by Steven Frampton a few weeks ago, and wow—it’s not your typical fantasy. On the surface it’s about Odin searching for his pup, Jimbo, but before you know it you’re knee-deep in myth, magick, and some pretty timeless truths.
What I loved is how it sneaks up on you. One minute you’re smiling at a boy-and-his-dog adventure, the next you’re chewing on alchemy, ancient wisdom, and the bigger picture of how the world and cosmos really work. It’s lighthearted and serious all at once, and somehow it works beautifully.
This isn’t just a story—it’s a book that leaves you thinking long after you set it down (which may be a challenge). I keep my copy in the car for when I want some comfort reading. Highly recommend!!!!
